Who would win between the Sentry and Superman?

Please be honest with your answers and have detailed explantions to why one would win.

Sentry of course.

Sentry is pretty much similar in stregth (i think stronger) and is an instant (or 2 seconds) quicker than superman or anyone due to a time-gap that gave him his powers.

superman would never lay a hand on him he would always see superman coming.

Sentry is described as the man with the power of 1000 exploding sons. Post crisis superman can be harmed without kryptonite and can't withstand that kind of power.

sentry's only weakness is not physical it is mental and since superman has no mental powers he would lose, likely he wouldn't even figure out sentry's weakness.

Batman on the other hand would have a shot, don't know if he would be able to set up some elaborate trickery to mess with sentry enough, but he hands superman his *** fairly easily so bats would have a chance, likely not a good one because he would need telepathic powers, but still a chance.

Wow...since when does messing with someone's head have anything to do with Telepathy?..And who said anything about Post Superman?...Sentry has been known to break down at the whim of something difficult at the first sign of tragedy..isn't that why they are trying to recover his psychie now?..Sentry is unstable, and no...he is not stronger than Superman, neither Marvel nor DC allow that to happen, especially DC. He rivals Superman in every aspect, but even if he is faster, since when did speed ultimately decide a fight?..Flash is faster than Superman, but could easily be taken out with some outwitting and some cunning. Sentry is a behemoth, no joke. He's the man everyone fears, but he's also the new kid on the block and seeing as how he's new, he gets more hype than the old...but Superman is still around..that says something. Sentry has the capacity and capability to become the strongest here known to man, but his unstable mindset hinders him from unlocking his full capacity. Neither man is stupid, so as to say Superman would lose just because he's so called "weaker" doesn't seem to fit as well. As dumb as this may sound, the man has kept his identity pretty well covered for all these years as small as that may sound, why is it that he can defeat one of comics greatest villians...Luthor?...Why is it that Luthor, as cunning, rich and brilliant as he is, always loses to Superman?...Because of superman's overwhelming strength?...Most likely not, seeing as how Kryptonite nullifies that, it's the genuis to overcome his handicap. Honestly, it would have to be played out, there's no way to look at a piece of paper and give a definitive answer, if that was the case Superman would win, just on sheer fact he's older, wiser, just as strong as long as the sun stays shining, and popularity. The entire DC universe lies upon his shoulders, along with Batman...so would you honestly think DC would allow someone else to hinder there cash cow?...Conclusion: Let them go at it, see who the victor is. No outside interference, no objects, nothing...just space and two super individuals. More times than not, Superman wins..
