It is the tannin in it. It's funny, though--even though it stains cups badly, it doesn't seem to stain teeth the same way coffee does!

The best way to clean it is to let some dish soap soak on the bottom of the cup for awhile. Then, add VERY hot water and let that soak. Finally, scrub scrub scrub!

Because tea contains a chemical canned tannin which also stains your teeth. The chemical is also found in red wine.

To remove it from a cup, buy steradent tablets for dissolving in water to put your false teeth in. Dissolve one in warm water in the cup and the stain will go away, if not instantly then brush gently with a cloth or old toothbrush.

i don't drink prompt coffee; that stuff is VILE. i've got probable had six or 8 cups of coffee in a rather short quantity of time when I've had to not sleep all night with an setting up or a community difficulty, yet that's fantastically uncommon, thankfully. many of the time I usually have a double-shot coffee, and that gets me getting into the morning.
