Perhaps it's because you don't make any sense, yourself. Even this post makes no sense. Have you looked at what you've tried to write? Geez!

Firstly thats a typical teenage thing to say, an over generalisation no doubt there are some older people who can't understand teenagers but there are plenty who know alot more than you think. I dont understand the part about "I have one a girl" what you have a teenager? or you have a so called stupid over 30year old? Anyway, either way I hope one day when you are over thirty you remember your Question and then you will know know the answer..

Over thirty people need to reevaluate themselves. They can't admit kids ideas are more clever. They need support and don't know how to ask their younger peers for advice. Education is beyond them and they feel youth is a
past thing. They've become more serious with debt and working. They'd rather have a huge stuffed teddy bear for Christmas instead of a toaster that designates their age.
Their society controls thier music and social life. They are not thrilled at their high school reunion. They better go out to a Brittney Spears Concert quick before losing all contact with the outside world!!!

We don't think you're stupid. We know what it's like to be a teenager. We also know what it's like to have lived in the real world. If anything, we hope we can help you avoid some mistakes we've made. Cliche I know, but it's true. PS - I never would have believed that as a teenager myself. You just have to live and learn.

I don't think 30 somethings think teen are stupid. I certainly don't. I think it's sometimes hard for us to remember what we were like at that age. And, to be honest, things have changed a lot since we were that age. I can't believe the things you teens go through, and the younger ages you are going through it at. Maybe we find it hard to relate since those same issues didn't come up with us until later on.

It sounds like you have a chip on your shoulder.
Why do you assume that "they look at you like you're stupid?"
Try being more reasonable and don't pre-judge older people.
Trying listening to older people, you just might learn something.

because they really do think that people over 30 are stupid. They think they know everything, until they need something.
