Actually, Osama is definitely a true, orthodox Muslim. (Allah is merely the Arabic word for God so good Egyptian Christians are also 'followers of Allah'). Osama Bin Laden's actions are in defense of Islam against the kaf'rs who fought the Taliban and attacked al-Qaida - these would be acts that require a response of jihad. He is acting perfectly consistently with the Qur'an.

Make no mistake, Bin Laden is a clever man. He is using the followers of Allah as cannon fodder by promising them what is not his to promise -- everlasting glory in heaven. You don't hear of many of his top leaders volunteering to be a suicide bomber. So NO he is not a true follower. He is a coward for getting others to do what he hasn't got the guts to do his self.
