i prefer you to Mac OS which is small and handy many student prefer to buy for studies.You also get ms office for mac operating system.

Macbook. They are soooo much thinner and lighter than other notebooks- I use an iBook G4 and every time I pick up a friend's Dell or Gateway I'm shocked at how heavy and thick they are!
Not to mention that there are virtually no virus problems with the Mac, and the OS comes with most all of the software a student could ever need, with the possible exception of Word/Office.
