Whoa, you mean there were witch movies made about Wyatt Earp in Tombstone? I didn't know. However, did you know that the Earp family were chased out of California for horse-stealing and cattle rustling? Did you know that Wyatt Earp in real life, never was in a gunfight in his life? Usually he or one of his family found out by hiring the local kids in the town for a quarter that when a bad man was looking for him, he usually went out the back of the saloon he owned and shot the guy in the back, then spread the rumor that it was a standup face to face fight. Check the real history of the Earp family before you start believing the hype that movies put out.

I've seen both and I like both, BUT for me Tombstone is still my favorite out of the two. There is just never a dull moment in that film, while some of Wyatt Earp is just a little too slow for me. I thought Val Kilmer was the best at Doc Holiday as well...and Kurt Russell just fit as Earp. Great question!

Tombstone!!!! I'm yo' huckleberry.
Val Kilmer's portrayal of Doc Holiday is one of the best performances I've seen.

man tombstone hands down because it had EVERYBODY in that movie
kurt russell
val kilmer
billy bob thornton when he was still big
and the list goes on... but all of them were nothing to play with in that movie, and i enjoyed it and i don't even like westerns too much.
