If it wasn't called Touching the Velvet, then the filmmakers screwed up. Sounds like something I'd see at 2 a.m. on Skinemax.

There was "Tipping the Velvet" a couple of years ago about a lesbian relationship on Broadway, I believe. Not exactly Montana cowboys, but it's the only one I can think of with that type of title.
Of course, theirs tons of other lesbian-oriented films (not including the porn flicks), but none with a similar title that I can think of.
