I would describe contractions as a dull ache. I never had Braxton Hicks.

I think you should call the Hospital and ask them.

I'm about as far along as you are and while this could happen for a variety of reasons - I have similar pains when sitting in one position for a long time and while walking. I was told that after multiple pregnancies, you tend to carry lower so more of the weight is being placed low in the pelvis causing some pain. I'd really recommend that you speak with your practitioner. There is some potential for having an infection or other issue to where they would need to ask more questions about your symptoms to give you an accurate answer on what it is.

I am 25 weeks pregnant-almost 26 and I actually am habing the exact same thing-so I asked my doctor at my appointment last week and he says it is very normal during the 3rd trimester. He says it is the veins in your vagina that are expansing due to increased blood flow due to pregnancy and it is almost like vericose veins in your vagina. He said the pain will go away after giving birth.Hope that helps!

I'm about 35 weeks also and i get those pains every once in a while too. I think it's just the baby putting pressure on something.

Yes could be nerve pain i would ask you midwife just to put your mind at rest. Give your Dr's surgery a ring in the morning If you can't get in ask to speak to her on the telephone. I am sure its all normal though and its just pressure of the head. Good luck with everything honey x

It's your body's way of preparing for childbirth. As long as the pains don't keep increasing or are irregular then it should be okay. If they are irregular and are not increasing in pain then they normally call it Braxton Hicks. If your worried call your doctor for reassurance.
