Just curious. I had it for about 6,7 years & since getting a laptop last year, it was like being released from hell....

After 6 years on Webtv bet you learned HTML! My email signatures were far more creative with the original Webtv than any of my computers or MSNTV2 now.
The original Webtv (re-branded MSNTV) has been discontinued. Customers can continue to use Webtv but new boxes are no longer manufactured.
Microsoft has replaced it with MSNTV2. MSNTV2 is a very different box designed primarily for broadband and a home network.
I enjoy the speed of MSNTV2 on broadband but miss many of the features in the original box.

I'm sure there are some old folks out there who still have it. I know my sis-in-law is still using it, or was the last time we talked about computers.
