As a new employee the select few have to perform a lil skit at our company party. It is all in fun but I need some ideas about what we could do.

Alright, this is the funniest skit ever. It has to be done in absolute seriousness and it will come off perfect. All involved is the skit dress in nice clothing, and everone have a folding chair, (hopefully you have these at work, if not it is worth it for everyone to invest in one. Go to Sam's Club). What you will do is choriograph a "synchronized dance" with the chairs. Use music like "The Nutcracker Suite". Imagine a land version of synchronized swimming or ballet. The chairs lend to an "office theme" and they are used like a synchronized swimmer would use thier arms or legs for visual interest. Like when the synchronized swimmers all raise thier hands at the same time, you would all raise the chair folded at the same time. Move around in sync, twirl, bend etc. Move the chairs in sync. Open and close the chairs at certain points in the song together. Have the line split in two and criss cross. You could all open the chairs and set them down and then one at a time sit down, then do some hand or leg moves sitting. Hold your heads up and shoulders back like dancers do, move like they do. Does this give you the idea(?) It's very funny, seriously. It's unexpected and when everyone is together in movement and appears to be really serious about it, it's great, the audience can not resist this one. You'll be a hit. Good luck.
