I would be a vampire. They can suck blood, fly, sleep all day, live a long life, and are powerful. Vampires are evil creatures; I like to be evil.

No, no, no. Being a zombie would be worse than death. Even if you had some self-awareness, can you imagine how horrifying it would be? It would be like getting severe brain damage to the point that you're so retarded you don't even know to kill yourself.
Vampire--and I believe so strongly that vampire is the best, I can say with all honesty that anyone who choose zombie is a moron.

Both of these beings are reanimations of a body, the vampyre having a demon occupying it (unless you are talking about an original vampyre) and the zombie having nothing occupying it. In either case, neither of these would have you occupying it, so your question doesn't make any sense.

Vampire, hands down. Zombies are mindless, flesh eating, putrid reanimated corpses. Vampires are sentient and powerful and (depending on the bloodline) they can fly, shapeshift, procreate (after a fashion) and live forever. Or at least, a long, long time. And they can still have a bit of nookie now and again. Vamps rule!

Then I would definitely want to be a Vampire.
