I am stationed overseas and want to know if America truly appreciates what we do.

Yes, there are people here in America who truly appreciate you and what you do. I know I do! I may not agree with the reasons for this war, but that's a problem with the government, not the military. My father and both grandfathers are retired military and I have nothing but the deepest respect and admirition for the men and women serving in the US military now. I don't see me losing that respect anytime soon. So, in conclusion, yes, I would love to give a big Thank You!!! to you and everyone else serving in the military.

I wish that you did not have to go over there.
I am working to bring you all back safely as soon as we can.
You were given a most unpleasant task to do and you endured much for it.
I appreciate all that you have done for America and on behalf of America. I want you and your brothers in arms to know that we respect you and what you must do.

I just talked to my father last night (a Vietnam Vet) about this subject, no matter who you are or if you oppose the war, be thankful and appreciative to the men and women who risk thier lives every day for our country.
