Im leaning towards Meadowlark Lemon, but Cedric Ceballos is giving him a run for his money.

they wasn't the same without Medowlark Lemon!! he was funny and a real good shot artist.."Curly" Neal would be a close second he could drive you crazy with his dribbling!!

I guess it's how you define the question. Wilt obviously is the winner if amount of playing time isn't important. He only played for the Trotters for a winter before turning pro, but he certainly was the best player.

Past that, remember that the Globetrotters used to have their pick of many of the best African-American players before the NBA integrated in 1950. Marques Haynes and Goose Tatum were both very good players, and were on a team that beat the powerful Minneapolis Lakers in the late 1940's.

Lemon certainly ranks as one of the clown princes of basketball in terms of humor, but he didn't have some of the game skills of some of the other Trotters.

Before he went to the NBA Wilt Chamberlain was a Harlem Globetrotter, hands down the best of all time.

We had some Harlem Globetrotter come to my school but i got in trouble. when i came back he was doin all sort of tricks like he made 2 out of 3 halfcourt shots. and the 2 went water a.k.a swish , didnt hit rim it just went in.my cousin's bf got invited to a basketball school since he was very tall like 5"8 and he is only in the 7th. and the Harlem Globetrotter had a bald head , also he looked old.

I'm liking Curly Neal, I had the opportunity to meet him and receive a signed ball. He also said that I reminded him of his daughter and that I should never change.
