Hmm.. Aaron Mauger & Ma'a Nonu? Conrod Smith & Mils Muliaina? Luke McAlister & Sam Tuitupou?
I'm thinking Luke McAlister (or Aaron Mauger) and Conrad Smith. But by all means, tell me what you think.

Mills is a fullback and they should leave him to spesialize there with Leon as his backup.
Nonu promises so much with his size and pace but always underachieves.
Tuitupo is a good backup but definately not the best option in either channel.
McAlister is an inside centre and flyhalf and is a fantastic one at that but he looses my vote because Mauger is someone just slightly better than him with loads of experience. I would love to choose both Mauger and McAlister but they are both the same type of player and thus the combo wouldn't work. He can be the impact player.
Leaving Conrad Smith as the outside centre since he played so well against France and I think he is hungry to cement his place in the All black squad. He also runs some great attacking lines and is solid defensively.

Definitely Mauger and Smith, 12 and 13...
With McCallister as reserve 10,12...
I do like Nonu but I don't think he has shown enough poise or brains in his overall play... we need the 12 to be a playmaker, and while Nonu can bust holes in the defensive line, his unwillingness to pass (although he has gotten better), his lack of a kicking game (compared to Mauger), and his defensive lapses in the past make Mauger the best choice... maybe after RWC 07 go with Nonu, but for now.... Mauger and Smith...
Mils is quite possible our best 15, so he must play there. I like Tuitoupo as well but he isn't in the same league as others...
Maybe Richard Kahui after RWC... that guy is gonna be awesome

I thought McAlister was an out-half. My choice would be Nonu and Muliaina.
