They're both zealots who believe they're right and everyone else is automatically wrong. They try to control people through fear. Even though neither Jesus nor Mohammad advocated violence, they both seem to think putting your enemies to the sword is what God wants. So besides having a different name for God, what's the difference?
And yet the Religious Right has the gall to label Liberals as terrorist sympathizers?

Apparently the difference is that Christians don't blow themselves up in suicide bombing attacks. They don't have to because they have Tomahawk cruise missiles, which do way more damage without requiring the sacrifice of any Christian lives.
Well, thanks. That really clears it up for me.

actually Jesus did advocate the killing of those who would not follow him.
Luke 19:27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
and Mohammad did indeed advocate violence against non Muslims.
Quaran 9:5 Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
so the Fundy zealots of both religions have justification to carry out violence on those who don't submit to their dogmas. however, most Fundy Christian violence is in the past because American Fundy Christians are quite comfortable and don't want to risk life in prison or the death penalty by carrying out the will of their Lord that is unlawful in our secular society. now and then a Christian Fundy will murder an abortion doctor or a gay person but all in all they've established themselves so there is no need to commit genocide anymore. the Muslim zealots are more dangerous, at least to the west because they're feeling quite threatened by the insertion of western ideals into their closed society.

Egypt and Turkey are secular states????? you have not been there recently i will see. shall we bypass to the scoreboard and notice how Muslim vs Christian fundamentalists stack up we could desire to? Muslim - Have killed extra human beings than in the time of the entire of Spanish Inquisition, the entire Northern eire conflict, extra desirable than the KKK, & extra desirable than harmless human beings placed to dying. On 9/eleven they got here here and concentrated 3000 human beings. they have beheaded human beings on viedo. In Muslim international locations women human beings can not vote, get stone for being rape, or perhaps adultry, & could be lined from head to toe. Christian fundamentalists- a pair of abortion bombings and have been outed by making use of alternative Christian fundamentalist. yet to work out any Christian fundamentalist call for women human beings to resign their suitable to vote or face the comparable concern that Muslims face. So shall we be actual and get that boogie guy approximately Christianity out of your ideas and face the reality. Muslim terrorists prefer you lifeless no if ands or buts approximately it. you may not evaluate the two.

"We do not form militias, commit terrorist acts of murder, and take oaths to destroy another people through genocide (Jews for example)."
Actually, fundamentalist Christians do form militias:
http://www.adl.org/learn/ext_us/Christian_Identity.asp?LEARN_Cat=Extremism&LEARN_SubCat=Extremism_in_America&xpicked=4&item=Christian_ID
Christian fundamentalist do commit terrorist acts of murder:
http://www.prochoice.org/about_abortion/violence/arsons.asp
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_terrorism
And, last time I checked, Hitler was a Christian:
http://www.stephenjaygould.org/ctrl/quotes_hitler.html
So, yes, fundamentalist Christianity is just as dangerous as fundamentalist Islam.
Fundamentalist anything is pretty darn scary.

They Say
The biggest difference is Christian Fundamentalists don't think everyone who isn't them needs to die! I haven't heard of any buses blown up by Christians, have you?
I say
That's because they're now past that "Phase" of the development of thier doctrine, see before that they did EXACTLY the same I seem to recall crusades, inquisitions, and witch hunts all done in the name of the Christian God

I do not know anyone who is a Christian (Fundamentalist or otherwise) who is advocating the murder of a race of people.
If liberals are not terrorist sympathizers.... Why were the terrorists celebrating the election results? They know what it means.... do you?

The question was what are, not what were the differences.

A big difference between Christians who spread the word with acts of kindness, and Islamists who strap bombs on their own children and mental patients to kill the infidels and spread their word.

To the deceased, whether the bomb is strapped to the belly of a human or the belly of a fighter jet makes no difference. This war should be against fundamentalism!
