Search history for Yahoo! Google and the like is also saved by Window's AutoComplete Feature.
After you delete your temporary files and clear your history, do the following:

In your browser:
1. Select "Tools" than "Internet Options"
2: Select the "Content" tab and then the "AutoComplete" button.
3. Uncheck all boxes and click "Clear Forms"

That should do it! But if you really want a clean system, (deleting other files this procedure misses) check out the programs below. One is free, one is not but has a trial. And note I have no financial interest in these programs. Hope this helps:

Depending on what you mean, you can go to the start button on the taskbar on your computer, click on CONTROL PANEL then click on INTERNET OPTIONS.... when the box pops up you will see something that says HISTORY click on clear history and then you will see DELETE COOKIES which will delete all searches you did. Also right click on the taskbar and click properties then click the tab that says start menu the click customized... then click the advanced tab... then on the bottom right you will see clear list.. this should clear it all... So no one can see what you were doing on the computer...

Good luck!
