I need someone who knows how you know which words to use when you talk to someone. The words are san, kun, chan, etc. How would you use them when talking to someone? Do they have specific meanings? Please help me. I don't want to sound stupid or offend anyone if I use them.

San would be used for an older respected person such as a teacher, kun is used for a younger person like a litte brother or sister,and chan is for your friends ^.^ you use them immediately after names such as erika-san or jesse-kun
