The Mississippi, Amazon (it was recently discovered it used to flow the other way), Colorado, Nile, Tigris, Euphrates, Thames, Rhine, Yukon, Snake, St. Lawrence, and Zambezi River (which feeds Victoria Falls).

The Colorado river has a very interesting history. The Mississippi, the Amazon, The Thames (in England), the Ganges (in India), the Columbia river is a good one too.

Circulating on this web site is a site for the Nile river in Egypt that was really interesting. If not for that river millions would die.
They depend on it for irrigation and a bunch of stuff. would make a great report. Started to use it but couldn't get back to that web site. Might be on Wikipedia.org
