Everyone (who of course is a boneheaded Bear fan) says Eli sucks, he's no good, blah blah blah.
Heres how he stacks up over the 1st 32 games of his career, as compared to some other QBs over their 1st 32 games:
Manning is 18-14 in the regular season. Here’s how his record after 32 games stacks up with some other prominent quarterbacks:
Michael Vick 21- 10-1
Tom Brady 21- 11
Donovan McNabb 19- 13
Eli Manning 18- 14
Brett Favre 18- 14
Jake Delhomme 18- 14
Matt Hasselbeck 17- 15
Peyton Manning 16- 16
Mark Brunell 15- 17
Jake Plummer 15-17
Hmmmmm...... Interesting.....
Better stats than his brother, tied with Brett Favre, and i dont see Rex Grossman..... Hmmmm......

I totally agree!!!!! Eli may be a young QB but he has alot of time to get better. He is awesome and I'm glad he isn't a cocky QB like others are.. I'm a huge Giants fan and I get sick of hearing ppl talkin crap about how he's not as good as his brother. Peyton has a couple years on him and ppl need to realize that. Eli is much better than alot of QBs that have been playing for years..... I mean, look at Favre.. his record this season is horrible. I have all the respect for Eli and think he's doin a great job!! He has his bad days, but what player doesn't?
GO GIANTS GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

True, Eli has a better record than many current QBs, but thats not all that counts. He has had an all-pro running back to gain most of those wins, and has yet to succeed in the playoffs. His stats are also not so great, so you cannot evaluate the greatness of Eli Manning on record alone.

I don't care for Eli, but saying he sucks doesn't mean he's not a better QB than Rex Grossman (of course I'm not a Bears fan so I may be missing some bias towards Rex). Of course Rex isn't there (has he even started that many games?--checked, nope, he's only started 16), he sucks.

I actual have liked Eli, on account that day one yet, i understand the place you're coming from. it irritates Me, to no end, additionally. people say he's not so good as, His brother and, consistent with threat they're suited, STATISTICALLY yet, as a team chief, i think of He ought to tutor much extra helpful. as I remember, it took Peyton, 7 years to win a great BOWL. it purely took Eli, 3. to Me, that's extra significant to, win championships than, individual honors. might You particularly have a quarterback with, 7 MVP trophies or, 7 great BOWL earrings? this is what each NFL participant, is working for. soccer, is a team game.

He is a great quarterback, but a chain is only as strong as its weakest link and the Giants win record is no match for the Colts. Hey I am there -a Cowboys fan-, cuz I live in Texas, and we just got a halfway decent quarterback, but a great quarterback can only go so far to winning the games!

When it comes to games--- Peyton is the best obviously.. As for little numbers what do they really matter? All that should matter is which team is **winning**.. Thats none of those guys teams but the Colts.. first team n the NFL to go 9-0 two years in a row!! :) go peyton!

Phillip Rivers is a better QB now (after only his 9th start) than Eli Manning will ever be in his career. Roethlisberger isn't great, but he already has a superbowl ring. Which makes Eli the worst QB (out of the big three) to be picked in the 2004 draft.
I'm glad Manning cried like a wussy and got traded to the Giants, we got a better QB and Merriman out of the deal, you guys got screwed! hahahahahah!!!!!!
GO CHARGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eli is good and improving every week, unfortunately the Giants don't play for the full hour. Otherwise they would have a outstanding team even with all the injuries.
