Who is the "total" leader? (sports, academics, etc)

UCLA has way more total sports championships. USC has awesome film schools and accounting schools. but so does UCLA. not to mention the UCLA medical school. UCLA has a slight edge. and the person a few steps above. georgia tech? you're definitely not familiar with the schools in southern california

In terms of sports, the only one that matters is Football and USC is by far the winner in that category. If you want to add other sports Basketball goes to UCLA in a shutout and baseball edge goes to USC. In total sports its close UCLA has a slight edge.
Academics it depends on the program. Overall UCLA has an edge but certain programs USC has a clear edge. For example USC is better in Accounting and Film certainly. UCLA has a better MBA program.

Between the two, who really cares? If I had to make a choice I would say USC. Both are decent academically and USC is better in the sports that really matter (ie Football). If you want an overall best school in the country you might want to try other schools, such as Georgia Tech, Michigan, Penn State, etc. that are better academically and have great sports teams.

Tennessee is going to win this soccer sport inspite of a sparkling offensive coordinator! UCLA has no longer something to hire offensively that could handle this powerhouse, defensively STACKED, SEC team! I say Tennessee's offense will warfare, yet frequent i think of the UT protection will come via with some protective performs, even possibly a protective TD from Eric Berry. Tennessee via 17.

they're about even when it comes to sports and academics because each school has programs that beat-out the other school.
but overall, i'd have to go with my trojans for the better alumni network.
did you know that george lucas donated $150 million to USC and the film school? where's that kind of love at ucla???
