If you mean when they answer questions on here, they are always saying it. Politically I think even Americans would draw the line at really doing it, except for that second Atomic bomb on Japan which really wasn't necessary.

RED F: If it hasn't escaped your notice Zulu9 is a winder up of Yanks on here par excellence, which makes him British, why would you then say you are cleaning up our mistakes? I believe it was your President that decided that America needed the oil from Afganistan and Iraq, and Bin Landen was the excuse he needed to get it, so don't blame us Brit's for the s*it your in now...

No nukes!!! Dragon is American and she doesn't want to nuke anyone. Nukes will hurt everybody.

Dragon wishes you were wrong, but she knows you are right. It prolly has something to do with a desire for vengeance of some sort, or retaliation.

Uh . . . to make the world safe for capitalism. But then we could just simply continue exporting Wal Marts (with the same end in mind) which would minimize the environmental impact.

Wal Mart will save the world from nuclear holocaust. What an idea!

Do they? Hm. Nukes are paper tigers. Perhaps subliminally it's like the Eunuch in a harem. Apparent but incapable. This is applicable throughout the American continent. It's alright. I'm an American - tell them I said so. Hard to argue with fact.

No ...not most...very very very few if any really.
"Most" Americans do not want to nuke "everyone".

More than a little exaggeration there...big time.

Most of us really want peace. I marched for "no more nukes' years ago...

I'm an American.
I don't want to. In fact, I'm very ashamed of this country and would love to live elsewhere, but emmigrating is expensive and hard to do, and so far, even with my views, I have experienced a large amount of hostility toward Americans, not that we don't deserve it. But not all Americans are alike, you know.

Solving problems by use of force is nothing new and is a simple answer that doesn't require any difficult thought. Bullies use the same tactics. Usually they're stupid but they still get their way through the use of brute force.
