Men can and should wear rings as freely as women do.
There is no reason that a man is not allowed to wear the rings that he chooses.
Men are gaining fashion freedom all the time just as women did 60 years ago.

Men CAN wear any rings they like.
However, as a lady, should my man decide to wear a ring, which he does from time to time, it's only one and it's worn on the middle-finger of the right hand. Go silver/gold, but be plain about it - the fact that you are wearing a ring is flashy enough.
I think it should go without saying that a married man, should be wearing his wedding band...however I know of quite a few that don't, so I believe it bears typing out.
PS. Pinky rings are corny.

Wedding rings or the equivalent are the obvious choice. I may be wrong but I don't think there should be and protruding diamonds or gems on a mans ring. Thumb rings seem pretty manly to me. Over doing rings just makes a man seem too needy to follow the crowd that supposedly isn't following the crowd.

Wedding, Signet, Diamond Pinkey ring.
Also any ring that he feels comfortable
in wearing. Good taste counts.

None, except for a plain gold wedding ring. Any other type of ring is just strange on a guy. fat school rings are pretty ugly as well. stick to plain and not gaudy.

I prefer only wedding rings. Otherwise the guy just looks like he it trying to be a mobster, not cool.

Nothing except for wedding rings ;-) But if you want there are always those huge bling rings... but those make you look like a rapper wannabe.
