My children are finally old enough to really understand the concept of holidays and I'd like them to be able to make some sort of card to send to family...something a little more personal. Any cute ideas?

dip little hands in acrylic paint and stamp their hand print on card stock (or their foot prints) and family will love it,
draw on little snow caps of glitter and call it a card.
You could print a wreath of green with little fingerprints stamped over and over then two little red fingertips for berries.
If you are making last minute Thanksgiving cards, the whole hand print in brown pait makes a turkey when you add eyes and a beak and the red wattle. My mom framed mine and still hangs it out every November.

this is a fun crafty thing to do with younger kids. Potato stamps. Take a raw potato and cut it in half. On the cut end cut out a design - tree, star, snowflake - you can get as detailed as you like, make several. Then get red and green paint and put on separate paper plates. Have the kids put their potato in the paint and then stamp on white construction paper cut into the size you want. Cute little cards.

Let them color or use markers.
Or past their picture on a card. Put some glue around their picture and add sparkley glitter and shake off the excess.
