We have moved around a lot the last few years, in hopes of solving the problem of our dislike about our home town. I would rather call Saskatoon my home town but it isn't anymore.
We ended up moving back here with a certain disappointment and anxiety. I really wasn't mad about it, but I did think going to the coast would help. We may eventually move there but not right now. It's an issue of not having one's life on the right track.
After quitting the hospitality industry and going for a job in credit card sales and promotion as well as info and reception, I can say I am looking forward to the new campaign. A career change often makes person a lot happier. You feel life is 'fresh' again. I have changed my look a bit, getting my hair cut and highlighted and taking to spiking it up a bit instead of greasing it back. I have changed my wardrobe, less business and more nice pants and sweaters. Used to alternate between grunge, Tommy Hilfiger and business suits.
What I mean is spice up your life. Moving is not always the answer. We may move down to the coast with the company's offer of a transfer to the main offices, when the timing is right but this new company will get at least eighteen months of my time before we do that, placing any possible move in the spring of '08. We set goals now. I also will take some travel writing and photography classs. I have been working on my writing interest and projects but when I feel like it. So I send submissions as desired, which allows me to keep doing it without so much pressure. I have decided to do more goal-setting, financial planning, self-improvement, etc and being nicer and more assertive and polite. As a result, I am a happier person. I get along with my wife better.

You could go to a third world country. That might make you more grateful for the things with which you have been blessed. As for the masses following you... good luck.

There's nowhere new to go except Antarctica and we'd be insane to go there, it's cold.
Besides, the penguins wouldn't like it.
I say if we're exodus-ing, we should go to Europe. The land is pretty.

We could give all the wet backs bus tickets to Canada. It's cheaper than making them citizens. Lets deport them to green land.
