Green Bean Casserole (directions on the French's Fried Onion package) is my personal favorite simple and it will travel well. If you want something that's no bake Pumpkin Chiffon Pie, light and fluffy compared to regular pumpkin pie. Check out www.allrecipes.com they have a selection of Thanksgiving recipes, from beginners to experts. Good Luck and Happy Turkey Day.

I can remember a killer recipe my sister found for candied sweet potatoes that's easy to make. It starts with fresh sweet potatoes (not canned). Simply take however many sweet potatoes you want, prick them(so they don't explode), and nuke them in the microwave just until you can pierce them with a fork easily(but not soft). Then peel them and cut them up into chunks. You'll then slowly simmer them in a pot with enough water to cover, brown sugar, and cinnamon and nutmeg to taste until the sugar solution becomes like a candy glaze. Simple, but the best sweet potato recipe I have ever known. It's a family favorite now.

we deep pit the turkey...so the meat is real moist and falls off the bones, love stuffing and mashed potatoes and gravy. As a kid my Grandma always made homemade noodles in a yummy gravy type sauce - that is my very favorite but she is gone and no one else makes them!!
