Living in Florida, I haven't expierenced the greatest job market. Jacksonville is a big city, so it may not be so bad. I'd avoid resort towns like Daytona Beach or Volusia Co. as much as possible.

When I got married, there was problems because we lived in VA when we were from NJ. You may want to live seperate from your family, but you still want to have that connection and homesickness hits real deep.

Either way, you have sunshine and oranges. One has hurricanes and the other quakes.

I guess it really depends on why you are moving. Do you or your husband have a new job? Are you running from something? Do you just want a change? I live in Mobile, which is not that far from Jacksonville and I go over there a lot. (At least 2 a month) I love it. I wouldn't guess it is as fast or busy as California, but to risk nothing is the have nothing.

Well i live in florida. And the best places (i think) To live is either orlando or jacksonville orlando you can own a house for very cheap and in jacksonville i belive it is cheap too. If you move to the liver southern. i suggest you dont. In mami and broward county it is very expensive. I almost went homeless because of rent. so if you move here mover northern. We also have hurricanes but would you rather have time to pack or have no time at all with a earthquake? The northen part is very nice.

That's a hard question without additional facts. Do you have a way to make a living in Jacksonville? Where is your family located? Are you moving away from family or closer to family?

Sometimes the best thing you can do is stay away from family for the first year or two. It helps establish your marriage so you are closer to your spouse as opposed to running back to your family any time there is a problem.

I wish my husband and I had moved away from his family a long time ago. His family has caused many problem in our marriage.

If you have a job, a place to live and your wife is excited about moving, then go for it.

Alot of people are stating places like Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, and Little Elm. don't get me incorrect, those are rather useful areas. issue is....the TAXES. belongings taxes in TX are vast to start with, yet those cities they are terrible, to no longer point out, very high priced to start with. do no longer flow to Arlington, Grand Prairie or Desoto. no longer the terrific areas. they are very overcrowded and becoming to be very run down. the terrific places for my area are close to fortress properly worth. Its a lots slower p.c.., and for my area, safer. in case you have the money, Southlake and Colleyville are rather useful areas, residences selection from the $300s to correctly over one million million. Keller, Haslet, Argyle, and Flowermound are useful to boot, greater for the middle type. Haslet has very affordable taxes too. The force from any of those places to Dallas is around 30-40 5 min, yet properly worth it. fortress properly worth areas have greater of a small city sense, on a similar time as Dallas areas have greater of a city sense. good success which incorporate your place hunt!!
