Well it shows the light!And i just reformated the computer.

It might be the reformmating that did it.

We need some more info than that. First things first, make sure they are connected to the right plugs in the computer, if that fails, try reinstalling updated sound card drivers, even if it is on board.

If that fails again, you are best to try the soundcard in another computer with different speakers (Assuming it's not on board sound), it could be toast. If it's dead, there's nothing to do but buy a new one unfortanutely.

check in the following sections -
- device manager (right click on the My Computer icon on the desktop) to see if there is a problem stipulated in there
- sound properties (right click on the speaker/volume icon which should be at the lower right corner) [and to the left of the clock] - to see if you have muted the sound

Did u install the sound card's drivers?
