My blood test indicated that I was 4-5 weeks pregnant, but the beginning of my last cycle was 6 weeks ago. Does this mean that I'm 6 weeks along? I'm confused

No, it goes from your date of ovulation, which is usually 2-3 (I think the standard is 15 days) weeks AFTER the first day of your last period. So, you would be 4-5 weeks along like the blood test indicated. Good Luck!

Normally they do it that way. But if the blood test said your 4-5 weeks along, then that's what you are. You see if I went with my last period I'd be 21 weeks, but I'm really 17 weeks along.

Doctors cannot pinpoint the day of conception down to the very day but there are methods of knowing when you are ovulating. That is the time when you can conceive. Visit this web site and they explain in detail how to determine your days of ovulation. As a young woman, I used this for a means of birth control. Here is the site.

yes, oyu are actually PREGNANT for 38 weeks, but they say 40 weeks form the first day of your last period (since MOST women conceive 14 days after the first day of their last period.. confusing i know:)

confusing but yes.

that the hell with the thumbs down I'm right your pregnancy 40 weeks but you're baby's age is 38 weeks at that time. if you're 20 weeks you're baby is 18 weeks. i don't mean to be rude but I'm right.
