eventually they would turn on us. after there are no more enemies left to eat. and if a zombie bites you, don't you also become a zombie? If so, the we would be setting ourselves up for destruction as all of our enemies would become invincible zombies.

Either way, there's a higher ethics question posed with this idea: Do you think people would want their loved ones walking around all decomposing and gross-looking, while fighting a war and getting blasted away even further until nothing remained? Would we recycle soldiers to be used again and again? Who would want this to be done to them, the same people who donate their body to science? Most people, once someone is dead, want to greive and have a time of recovery or getting over it, if people were zombies, people would have to grieve again and again....lol.

Sorry, but zombies usually go about things on their own. They don't know anything other than to eat people who aren't zombies, so they wouldn't be any good trying to use guns or do anything else for that matter. We are better off forming our own army and killing them before they turn on us.

The really scary thing is that they're working on it. OK, not zombies, but genetic augmentation. Science fiction always precedes science fact. Also robots.

I think there already is an army of zombies...we call them "Americans". No really, have you seen those guys? I don't think that any of them could win a spelling contest!

don't their limbs spontaneously fall off?
that could be ok
they can tug off a hand and throw it at people
there is a chance of rebellion though
last time I spawned an evil army of the undead in my lunch hour they turned on me and made me spill my caffee latte
b*****ds

if you could control them it might be ok, but they are slow... but they are stubburn and cant be killed unless shot in the head or in the spine... so if you could put some bullet proof helmets on them, it would be awesome, but you need a whole bunch... in case of explosives and stuff you know ^_^
