Is it a bite or just a nibble? If it's a real bite, it might be that she feels threatened when you pick her up or reach your hand inside her cage; like you're invading her territory. If it feels more like a nibble, it may just be that she smells something on your hands that tastes good. Or, if the scent is of something dangerous, i.e. a cat, then she might be scared of it and your hand. Try washing your hands before and after you play with her.
Also, loud noises and quick movements can scare guinea pigs; when you pick her up do it slowely and try not to make a lot of noise. If she doesn't want to be picked up, try letting her get more used to your hand by petting her or offering her treats. Let her know that your hand is not going to hurt her, and if she's good, it just might give her a treat! If nothing works, it may just be that she doesn't trust you enough to let you pick her up. Try bonding with her in any way, even if it's just sitting on the floor with her. Good luck!

specific, Guinea Pigs can chew, like the different rodent. there are a number of distinctive aspects to why they could chew. in the event that they're worried or mad, they could chew harder and could even draw blood. additionally, in the event that they scent foodstuff on your hands, they're in all threat to chew, thinking that that's a yummy handle for them. some guinea pigs will gently nibble too. that would not rather injury although. As for who bites harder? they could the two chew perplexing, in simple terms relies upon on the situations. i'm going to assert this although, the hamsters I had transforming into up drew blood extra regularly than the guinea pigs did.

You might be hurting her a Little bit by the way you're holding her. They don't mind being held still resting on your are, but they most definitely don't like to be handled, and jostled around. Loud noise and quick movements will cause about any of them to bite. A lot of them will nip if you hold them close enough for them to see their cage of pen. I have some piggie that are over 6 years old that will do that, as soon as I move 10 feet or so from their pen they quit.
DON'T HIT THE PIGGIE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, especially on the nose. They don't understand hitting at all.

well, i've never had a guinea pig, but i'll try my best:
if ur guinea pig bites, hit him/her on the nose lightly; like what u do when a dog eats something he/she isn't supposed to eat or he/she bites u.
