I would love to get a $10 gift card. It's fun to shop with a gift card for any amount. A friend who would be petty about the amount is not a real friend. Since these are your brothers, they might tease you and call you cheap, but they will still like the gift. It would be like a double gift: the gift card plus the opportunity to tease their sister.

Not at all. You can always let your brothers know ahead of time that you will only be spending $10 on them. So that way, they know not to spend a whole lot on you. That way, it is a fair trade! :)
I found that an inexpensive gift idea is to find a really nice photograph or digital photo of me (and the person I am giving a gift to). Then, you print off the photo and throw it in a frame, and voila! Gift! :) You can find frames pretty cheap at Target or something. Also, if you have any consignment kind of shops (like Goodwill), they probably would have some.
GOOD LUCK!

If you don't have alot to spend, and your brothers should know this, then a 10.00 gift card is fine. Put it in a Christmas card and give it to them. One idea is to get them a gift card from each of their favorite restaurants and not all the same. That way they would know you were thinking about them individually and not as a group.

i definitely feel that it's always the thought that counts may it be 5 dollars or 500 dollars you should do what you can afford if it's 10 dollar gift cards then that's what you should get....it doesn't make you cheep it's what you can afford and it's better to give them something then nothing at all...if you feel funny giving them that you can always buy a small gift for 10 dollars for each of them that way they dont know what you spent..

its all about the thought...not the amount. you could always get them a $10 movie gift card. movies cost about that so you are giving then enough to afford to see a movie rather then $10 to a department store in case they dont have the money to add to the cost of what they are buying. I wish I had a $10 gift card...I'm so broke.

$10 is definately not to cheap, but I would do maybe a disposable camera or something instead. I feel if your going to do something inexpense that totally fine, but its always better to put some thought into it. Get them something inexpensive and fun. CD's, disposable cameras, picture frames, maybe put together a basket with their favorite snacks, magnets with their fav sports teams, a six pack...lots of fun stuff for less than $10!!!

I seem to be in the minority but I am not a fan of gift cards. But I wouldn't throw it back at the gift giver or dispose of it.
Guys love food so if you know how to bake, perhaps you could make a tin of various types of cookies or breads like zucchini or pumpkin. That wouldn't cost hardly anything other than your supplies.

I think it is not cheap at all. I think it is a lovely idea that even though you do not have a lot of money you want to give them this. I think that it will be much appreciated by your brothers as I'm sure they know that you do not have much but want to give them something anyway. God bless

It's the thought. I once received a $5 gift card from a friend, but it meant a lot because he was going through tough times(chemo/radiation therapy) but still he thought of me.

I believe that it is the thought that counts. I personally hate Gift certificates because they pretty much say I have no idea what you like. But if they don't mind them then who cares.
