Don't listen to people who tell you to start having sex 14 days after your period starts. Every one's cylce is different. I've never had a regular cycle. Infact, I would skip months at time. My husband and I conceived very quickly both times. We had sex everyday. Either early evening or VERY early morning. (2-5am). We used all the tricks even if they seemed silly. Everytime after he C*med, I would lay with my legs up in the air for 15-30 mins. He finished on top. We used all kinds of positions for fun, but always finished with him on me.
We also tried a lubricant called PreSeed. It is better than KY in the fact that it doesn't create a barrier to the sperm like KY does.
And...Don't worry about figuring out when your cycle is. We started having sex as soon as my period stopped. If anything, do the everyother day thing the first week after your period. Then, go at it every day, at different times.
We started the begining of October. I'm now 6wks preg with #2.
Good luck and a *~*~*~*~*~*BabyDust*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ to you and your hubby.
OH, and don't give up. Just keep having fun and let your mind off the "trying". Just enjoy eachother.

I think I have a fairly regular cycle, just not 28 days. It took us 6 months to conceive our son and 7 months so far of trying this time. Your best bet is to have sex every other day from the time you finish your period to the time you start you next one, really that is all you can do. You can try an ovulation prediction kit just buy extra test strips of you need them. That might help show you when you are ovulating. It isn't a one shot one day only deal for most people. You still have a couple days after ovulation that it is possible to conceive. You may find your abnormal cycle isn't so abnormal to you.

there is nothing wrong with doing it every day, you just don't have to. I suggest that you stop trying sooooo hard. This can become a problem if both of you are stressing. This can result in low sperm count, and tight muscles causing the sperm not to be able to enter into the women. good luck

My advise is not to try. Trying too hard often makes getting pregnant impossible. If you both already have seen a doctor and all is OK, then just relax and don't try. This happend to at least 5 of my friends. They all tried for months or even years and it happend when they were not trying so hard.

Have sex 14 days after your period started. My cycle is not normal and I just counted 14 days after the first day of bleeding, that's the time when you're ovulating. It dones't matter if it is normal or not. 14 days and make it as many times as you want.

My husband and I hae sex everyday, I don't think it really matters. I know that a lot of the stuff says your should every other day but can it really hurt.

We decided that if I am not preggo this month then next month we will try the everyother day theory.

every other day is definitely enough. you want to give your partner a chance to make more sperm. Besides, sperm can live in your body for a few days. So I don't think there's any benefit to every day.

If you haven't tried, maybe getting a prescription for Clomid will help you. Or another drug that helps with ovulation.

Also, I used this stuff and it was awesome for us! www.preseed.com

Good luck!

Go get an ovulation kit from the store that might help. This is what worked for me but....... you should try it.

during sex you both need to *** at the same time. ( I was told the when you *** it will help suck the sperm in a little) then you need to elevate you bottom for 15 - 20 minutes. That should help. Good luck!!!

relax and keep trying. The older you are the longer it may take. We tried for over a year, she was 38. Finally happened.
