Africa is a continent like South America and it comprises of so many countries. At present the north-western part around Mauritania has the same time as UK i.e. 20:51. Moving from the west towards the east up to areas around Egypt, the time is 1 hour ahead i.e. 21:51. Moving further east to countries in line with Kenya and South Africa,their time is 2 hours ahead i.e. 22:51.

It depends what part of Africa. If you want to know the time anywhere, get out an atlas and calculate an hour for every 15 degrees of longitude. Countries to the east of Greenwich mean time are ahead and the ones to the west are behind. if it is the far west of africa, there is no time difference, the mid west are one hour ahead, the middle of africa are two hours ahead and all the east african countries are 3 hours ahead of Uk and Ireland. Doesn't matter if they are north or south. just works east or west.

There are different time zones in Africa. In Kenya it is 4:48 pm, three hours ahead of here. Two hours ahead in British Summer Time.

On the African continent,Mauritius is four hours ahead of London,Dar es salaam is three,Cairo is two,Algiers is one,Casablanca is the same time and Praia in the Cape verde islands is one hour behind London,all in all six time zones.
