warm up strech and work out. then strech and cool down after. IF your sore strech. Warm bath will help. I recently started jogging (I never jogged for excercise before), the da after my first day out was horrible. I was in so much pain. Just get your muscles moving. light weight right now will get the muscle moving. My fiance used to be a body builder. He'd work our more if he started to hurt! (the old russian saying he told me gos as such "Cause more pain to make the pain go away") I did that with my jogging and it worked (I didn't jog, but I walked and tried to keep my muscles moving alot).

The pain is normal after working out, it is showing that you used your muscles. As long as you don't have any allergies take some ibuprofen to decrease the pain and take a warm shower. That is what I do after a work out.

Mine does too!!! I know it stinks but put on some kind of rub like ben gay or aspercream or something. I didn't know what the heck was going on, thought i might be having a heart attack!!! LOL Ice helps too or a good massage!?!?! Good luck and keep workin out i have seen better results with weights than without. It's definitely worth the hurt.

It depends on the kind of pain you are experiencing. If it is muscle soreness, then it is to be expected and you will know longer feel it after lifting for a while. If it is joint or ligament pain then you should probably try doing another exercise that doesn't strain these areas.

enjoy the pain it means that you are doing something good. To stop from being sore aply heat and/or keep the arm active. But overall if you are out of shape and it hurts that is good news. If you are in shape and you hurt, you might be doing something wrong. Be sure to talk to a trainer to make sure you are lifting correctly.

Take a day off and rest it! Let the muscles heal. You do not say how much weight you were using, it may be too much to start out on, try less weight after a day off

Ease off for a day or two on those exercises.
Muscle and tendon damage can be done that literally can months up to a year or more to thoroughly heal.
No pain no gain is not necessarily a good thing.
Sore muscles in one thing, damaged tendons is another.

thereis really nothing you can do. The pain will pass in time. Perhaps taking a mild anti inflammatory medication might help. IB profen works pretty good for muscle aches and pains

No pain, no gain. Take 2 Motrin and keep working out. If you let your arms get stiff it will only get worse.

Don't worry your muscles are getting used to the work out and are relasng I think lactic acid, it will go away as you develop strength- try massaging them afterwards
