That is not the way to do it. It is extremely tough and you do need to have a financial backing. This is what you need to do. First get head shots and resumes together. Most actor's first set of resumes are made up. If you have performed in high school shows you make it sound as if you performed for regional theatre. If you have taken pictures at school you make it sound like you shot for a studio. After you get your head shots then you need to do is pick up or subscribe to the Ross Reports. This is a book that has literally 1000's of agents, casting agents, and directors listed for the entire business. It comes out monthly. You want to send your head shots to casting agents that you feel will meet your needs. Also, subscribe to backstage. This is the industry trade paper across the country. Also they have a web site. Casting notices are posted usually every Friday and auditions are on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

If you are going to attend an audition bring your head shot along and be early. Don't arrive late. You won't be seen. Don't get mad if they turn you away. It is not what they are looking for. Just be seen is important.

Attend acting classes and voice classes. If you go to California don't be disappointed if you are turned away at the gates of the studios. There are literally hundreds of people trying to be an actor. Same goes for NYC. The other great areas for films is Chicago and Florida.

I guarantee that if you go to Hollywood (AKA Hollyweird), you will end up on the street or working as a prostitute. DO NOT GO!
Your best opportunity is to study long and hard. I'm trusting that you're still in either middle or high school. Stay there. Get your diploma, go to college and study acting, drama and theater. During the summer, audition at your local theater group. Go to summer camp for acting. My daughter now 14, attends camp every summer. Two years ago, she attended with several kids who were later picked up for a Nickelodian program. You should have her that child squealling! After you have a few small performances under your belt, consider getting a portfolio made -- they are kind of expensive. Get an agent willing to represent you and let that agent do all of the footworking and networking. In the meantime, read lots of books. The best actors are extremely well read and get straight A's in school. Go to lots and lots of auditions and be prepared to hear "No" alot. Also understand that most "Child Actors" do not transition well into adulthood. Can you sing? Can you dance? Along with everything else, you'll need a voice coach and a dance instructor. Can you read music and play an instrument or two? You'll need both the discipline and the diversity.

First, stay in school and get an education so you'll know how to spell 'be' correctly. They'll hopefully also teach you about correct word usage and punctuation! That way you will be able to read a script or an audition notice!

You can start off by appearing in a reality TV show like that girl who was on survivor. She now has a 5 million dollar contract with The View.

Only the manufacturers and their character sellers recognise what their salaries have been. As for the rate of creation. You can appear that up on Box Office Mojo or even then, the suggested rate of creation is to be excited by a grain of salt. Often the one character who is aware of the truly quantity is the road manufacturer.

if you want to "bee" an actor you should probably be a little better with grammer first.

you should consider taking some theatre classes from a local college first to help develop your resume (and more importantly your talent). from there, you can get a degree and begin working professionally in theatre.
