I have snagit, camtasia and hypercam, none of them can record my video game footage. I think its the game thats making it freeze because I can record other things just fine but I cant record that. What could the problem be and how can I fix it.

try fraps. I use that to record World of Warcraft. Works great.

Your issue could also be that your system can't handle the game AND the video capture program at the same time.
