Easy at home remedy for rust stains anywhere is to use toothpaste. Especially the whitening kind. Just put the toothpaste on the stain and wait a little bit then scrub it off with a brush or something abrasive.

CLR or any commercial rust/lime remover.

Use CLR (Calcium Lime Rust). You can find it at most any home store.

CAUTION!! Muriatic acid...only if your sink is NOT metal. BE CAREFULL! use a resperator and gloves. Can be found at paper and chemical, or janitorial supply stores thats practicly what CLR is. watered down acid

get some CLR and pour some on it and let it soak and scrub it off, sometimes Lime-a-way does the job

you buy a new sink, i dont think its healthy to clean stuff where rust resides

Comet--- Just dampen the sink and sprinkle with comet and scrub it out...
