Did you know that many girls do not even bleed their first time? I didn't bleed during my first intercourse. I had some spotting, but it was like hours later before that happened. I did feel some pressure and some stretching and maybe a little bit of pain, but all of that only lasted for a minute or two, then it started feeling really good! If he's squeemish about a little bit of blood (and I don't know anyone personally who bled more than a little their first time) then maybe you should rethink who you're sleeping with. You want a confidant young man, not a squeemish little boy.

It shouldn't be an issue. Put a towel on the bed to protect the sheets before you are intimate, and if he's sqeamish over blood (and there should hardly be blood everywhere)- he's too immature to be having sex.

Personally, I don't think the guy will really care about the blood. I'm sure if he's your boyfriend and loves you, unlike my first time, he will be concerned, but there's nothing for him to freak out about. I guess sex on your period is out the question then too huh?

Why should the girl have to worry about calming him down?
