I live in Peterborough. It's a new installation. I live in a block of 24 flats with a communal Sky dish. I have had the problem since installation 10 days ago. I have Sky HD. All other channels are fine. Sky reckon it is due to "atmospheric conditions" but this has been going on 10 days. Dish is too high for ASBO's to reach. I have just moved in & not yet spoken to neighbours.

Check with the neighbours, if their Sky picture is good then it's not the dish alignment. Could be a lot of things depending on how it's distributed among the different flats. Make sure all your leads are tight, there may be a poor connection somewhere between your receiver and the distribution amps in the lofts. Get Sky back if you can, to check it, or with-hold payment.

You're paying Sky for all the channels - so refuse to give them anymore money till they come and sort it out. Are your neighbours having a similar problem?

Maybe you should be asking Sky, not us.

If you phone them now (Tuesday), you'll probably get through to speak to someone by ... ooh, next Monday.
