God created Adam with the dust of the earth. Then he created Eve with one of Adam's ribs. God created everything. You can always read Genesis in the Bible for a more detailed story of creation.

About 50,000 years ago, someone, probably a woman, discovered religion. Religion was the ability to see as connected things which were, in fact, not connected. This bit of culture was invented independently in many places, and spread quickly. It was very much a cultural revolution, enough to separate Homo sapiens sapiens from Homo sapiens. It brought about imagination, art, inventiveness, engineering.

Dust of the ground was formed into man by God. Dust to dust as they say when we die.
Eve was made especially for man from his rib.
