Go to Home Depot: They have the glazing kits there. I've re glazed more than several tubs already, they've all come out real good.
Follow the directions closely. When your cleaning the tub make sure you sand real good, all the little nicks and gouges. Fill in anything and smoothen it good. When you do the final cleaning and sanding. do a good job.

Wear rubber gloves and a mask at all times using this. If you can't spray, you can paint, it goes on good and smoothens itself out. Remember, three coats is better than one heavy one, watch for runs.

Reglazing it yourself will cost about $150-$200 and it will NOT be easy. You'll ruin clothes, be around harmful chemicals for several hours, and it won't look like you want it to in the end anyway.

Calling a pro will cost you anywhere from $350-$500. You won't get messy, it'll take 3 hours, and you'll get a warranty. Get at least 5 years...

If it's a porcelin tub you can use epoxy spray paint. You'll just want to make sure you paint evenly and the tub is completely dry before you paint it. THis should work.
