Well, I don't know for a fact, but from what I understand North america only has a couple programming services. They sell their services to almost 100% of the commercial radio stations. Their choices are driven by revenue from the record companies. I work with an indie artist and the only practical venue to get her music played is on college radio.

Ever heard of the Beatles? The Kinks? Elton John? George Michael? Phil Collins? All from the UK. I personally like rap- but it's so hard to tell which is good rap that it gets swallowed in a sea of mediocrity.

"Over here", Hugo, you idiot is always the United States. The only country that matters.
