It is possible for one not to be focused on sex. However, the thing always appears in one's mind atleast for a second. Even in those of good ones. But it is not his fault. Humans are made as such. Whenever two negative forces meet, they tend 2 b attracted.

The main thing is how one is capable of controlling his emotion and get over that dirty thoughts in his mind. This depends in the virtues embeded in one's culture.

If u take my example, even i have looked many times from such angle but than strongly wiped off such thoughts by thinking positively.

Same thing applies to opposite side also. Girls also can not claim to be clean. It's in our nature itself. And to some extent it is useful for our survival on the world (by increasing population).

Thus, what is needed is to overcome such thoughts rather than expecting them to be fully out of one's mind. The person who ovecomes fast is gentleman.

The only thing to remove such toughts is to see all as "atma" rather than 'he' or 'she' and avoiding the western culture.

We are in the flesh sexual beings and sex is always in the picture; if not in sharp focus.

Exploring a spiritual and intellectual connection with the opposite sex is, to my mind, the height of sexuality. I guess this is a nice way of saying that you don't know what you are asking for.

There was a time, and I don't know if it is over, when I would have sold my soul for such a connection!

None that I know of! Sure, I think there are lots of guys who want ALL or some of those things, but sex is almost always on their minds (every 20 seconds, to be more specific...according to studies!). It's natural.

Still, you might find a guy into the kind of intellectuall relationship you describe, but most likely, ONLY if he's not at all attracted to you.

In my experience, men and woman can almost NEVER be "just friends"!
