no furniture except the computer desk, no lights except the warm glow of the monitor

depends what's going on....Monday thru Friday it's crazy. I get up at 5 am and get the kids up at 6. I feed the fish, feed the dogs, make the kids do their chores, and off to work at 630.The kids go to school about 730 and get home about 330. I get home anywhere between 3 and 5 depending on the schedule,( today will be 5 cause I have to go back and help close), figure out something for dinner and feed the fish again. Then it's bath times and a bit of the boob tube and bed.
Weekends aren't quite as bad, I work Saturdays, but not all day, and we have half a day to do things. Sundays I sleep in and then make a big breakfast. Spend most of the day doing laundry and watching football or the race or both.

Well, mine is an occasional disaster area with the kids and hubby. Something happening all the time...I wouldn't trade it for all the money in the world.

today it's nice and quiet - the kids are at school and my hubby is at work. the cat is lying in the sun on the floor in the livingroom and there's a yahoo answerer on the other side of this screen!
