No and I think they will be picked on. Your children don't need strange names to be special

I think Javin for a boy sounds nice - but the Jupin for a girl - that sounds more like a male name.

I think that I like Gavin better for a boy. I also agree that I wouldn't know how to pronounce the name for a girl. Unique is okay, but don't pick something too difficult that even the teacher won't be able to pronounce it (we've all been in at least once class at some point when the teacher struggles with a name - its not fun for the person)

I would think that it would really depend upon where you live and your ethnicity. I would never dream of naming my daughter Jupin, but perhaps that's a popular name in your area or culture. Just because he/she has an unusual name does NOT mean that he will get picked on, though I would definitely take that into consideration. If those are the names that you like the best, then stick with them.

Not really. Most people will not be able to tell if they are male or female by the name. That can cause problems.

You should name your child whatever feels right to you. Relying on anonymous people on a Yahoo site probably isn't the way to go. :-) Good luck!
