I graduated from high school in Indiana and the high school states that they cannot give me a copy of my diploma only transcripts. Is there another way to get it, I lost mine and would like the actual diploma. Thanks!

I don't think there is any other way besides the school you went to. You might be out of luck. You could find someone you graduated with and make a scan of their diploma, photoshop out their name and insert yours.

Nope - you can't get one. Try this --- I called some classmates that I had gone to school with, and borrowed one of their diplomas. I went to Alpha Graphics and had them scan it so that I would have a digital file of the diploma. I then went into my graphics program on my computer and erased the classmate's name and typed mine in as it had appeared on my original. After I was happy with the result, I had Alpha Graphics print a full size copy for me - it came out great!! There were some gold foil stickers attached to the original document. I looked at several office supply stores and finally found stickers that were almost identical to the original. I promise you, that you can't tell it from the original because it was printed on parchment like the original. Good luck on your quest. Go ahead and get a copy of your transcript too to keep for your records.

I don't think the school copies your actual diploma, so they probably don't have anything but your transcript.

Nope. I don't think so. Those are original documents. I tried a few years ago too but all they said is we'll send you your transcripts.
