I always see elder white foriengers with really georgous young filipina ladies? I dont understand it? The older white guys are very unattractive and the younger girls are soo hot?? why do they go for them?

Most people would be correct by saying money is the reason. It's not the ONLY reason tho. Filipino's have a double standard when it comes to men a women. Men are expected to have plenty of girlfriends while women are expected to stay single until later in life (sometimes in their 30's and 40's). I think this is one of the reasons that so many Filipino men are gay.
Anyway, Filipinas sometimes look for a boyfriend/husband who is not Filipino so they will have a more secure future and will have a partner that will remain faithful to them.

I am in that situation. Although there are some good answers here, I must say that each case is different. My younger filipina wife has filipina friends here in the U.S. Most of them have an older American husband and the relationships are great. Any man who has a Philippine wife will know what I am talking about.

unfortunately, the younger girls are looking to get out of the depressed areas of the Philippines and hopefully to a "better" life away from the area... They are making a "sacrifice" of their looks and body to go with some very lonely men in the hopes to better themselves
The Filipino women are now becoming the maids and cleaning people of other Asian areas and working under not so good working conditions, all just to get a "better" life...
I feel bad because when I visited the country, everyone was so very friendly (very genuine people) and I hope the country has better times ahead...

You will be seeing a lot of hardship here in the Philippines. And I mean, A LOT! And, what you just saw, a lot of hot-looking young Filipino maidens towing with them unattractive mature white men is just one of the many examples of the results of hardship in the Philippines. Most of these unions have this kind of arrangement:
Mature white male: "I am in need of a young and sweet Filipino girl who will give me the attention and care that I need. I will give her everything she wants if she agrees to marry me."
Young Filipina: "Okay. As long as you keep the dollars coming so I can be of help to my poor and ailing parents, I agree to marry you."
The mature white men seek the companionship and attention of a young and attractive Filipina; while the latter hopes to meet a young and handsome physically fit foreigner who, of course, has dollar$ in his pockets and will try her best to seduce him. Unfortunately, most of the foreigner men she meets in the net or chat rooms are older, mature, and sometimes those who are far from being physically attractive. She has no choice but to choose and pick one of them as soon as possible, because her landlord has threatened that if they still fail to give the monthly payment for the little room she and her parents and siblings are renting, he will be forced to remove all their belongings and stuffs from that room and throw them to the streets. This is just one of the many sceneries hardship in the Philippines is producing everyday.
The DOLLAR money is very attractive to us, Filipinos. Most of us try our best just to have it. And, marrying older and mature white men is sometimes the answer.
But, I've also heard and read stories of American and Filipino marriages which is based purely on True Love. But, I think, this is very rare.

I have always been attracted to Filipino Lady's. I am 53 and when I went looking a lot of younger gals contacted me but I am not attracted to a Young lady, some looked like children to me.. I have been talking to a nice lady the same age as my self for about 2 years and she has no money trouble. I go over to meet her in Jan. and she will show me the country. I talk to all of her large family and they are so very nice and polite. I wish Americans were as nice to talk to.

Could be a number of reasons. First off, in Asia age isn't as much of an issue as in the US.
a) Finanacial reasosns
b) The older foreign guy doesn't treat them as bad as the tricycle driver that ran away after knocking her up
c) They find it more interesting to be with a foreign guy than with the standard thing that 95% of what all others do
d) All of the above

Ha, I see money alot in the answers...my wife came here and now makes as much as I do. Hey, maybe it was MONEY!!
And I take exception to that boy's saying ugly white men. These ladies are not superficial like that and see inside a guy. But I do understand what he meant....I also saw some ugly freaks with babes...I am a contradiction

Some girls marry foreigners as a means of escape. They consider these guys as their savior or knight in shining armor. Apart from improving their lives, sometimes the only reason they don't mind marrying older men is just to escape their current situation in life.

I agree with everyone -- Money is usually the main reason.
A lot of these girls come from poor, depressed areas in the Philippines. They usually want to help their parents, siblings, etc. in their daily monitary needs.

It is every Pinoy's dream to go abroad. It is too sad that Filipinos are sometimes generalized as such. Majority of those who have affairs with 10-30 years their age are usually prostitutes. They sacrifice alot just to satisfy their material needs. Some of them are social climber.
