Of course they can. They trick is using your head and not acting on the attraction.

I don't think it's possible to be in love with two people at the same time. I also don't think if someone loves someone that they would have strong feelings for someone else. Love and Lust are two completely different feelings and people mistake them for each other all the time. I think the only way it's possible to have strong feelings for someone other than your spouse, is if deep down inside you are not in love with your spouse. Or it may just be a lust thing and not love, in that case I think it is possible to lust over someone other than ones spouse.

I think so, but for the sake of a strong marriage it may be best to distance yourself from that person. Some people think it violates a basic trust, to have emotional ties to someone other than their spouse, and are threatened by physical attactions to other people, even if they are never acted upon. So it depends on your spouse, and how secure they are in your relationship.

Yes absolutely.
Look at how you feel for your family and friends.
I also believe people can be in love with more than one person at the time. There is now reason for why this should not be the case, but it could be argued, that you should try and avoid it.

How about this:
Can you be in love with someone else, that you can't be with, and still be married?
It works both ways, and yes it's possible.

If he doesn't love the other person and it is just physical, it's just plain, old fashioned cheating. You wouldn't cheat on your spouse if you loved them.
