Well school me! If you don't want to be called white, what do you want to be called. I use the term Caucasian as well. I try to abide by peoples wishes because I would like them to abide by mine. But you know, we as people can try to hash this race card all we want, it's never gonna change unless the good people become more in numbers and we all become stronger against the bigots. Girl if you're proud because you're Caucasian then you should be. I'm damn sure proud of being a black woman. If I died and was resurrected, I would still want to be a black woman. I love me!

I am sick to death with all of the hype to protect the different "minority" groups. First it was *****, then Blacks, then People of Color, and then African Americans. When I was growing up we called a ***** a ***** and a Mexican a Mexican. I have friends from just about all races. Now I am aware that some of the slang racial slurs are bad, and I will not use them, but I'm a whitey or Caucasian or whatever you want to call me (and I don't get offended when someone calls me that). By the way, the term African American is ludicrous. This race in America have never been to Africa - it is just another way to try to embellish the truth. Call Black Black and White White - we are all AMERICANS (one name fits all).

Unless you're an albino, we're all people of color. Actually, white is a color too. Although in art it's the absence of color.

The phrase "people of color" was coined to replace the term minority. It may sound odd, but I much prefer it.
You may continue to call people minorities, but expect backlash.
