I has been 5 yrs for me but my Dr. charged me $2500...the hospital fee was $3000 and that was just staying overnight. I didn't get an epidural so if you get that it is another Dr's fee you will be paying. There are many hospitals that have a woman's clinic and you can have your care, labor, delivery, and hospital stay at a lump fee.

Depends on the medications, if any complications and what not. I was in labor for eight hours because having a c-section and the original eight hours cost my insurance over $2700. Plus, (not that you want to plan for it) there always a chance for a c-section or a long stay in the hospital. You should double check with your state insurance. I work in that field for WI and I know ANY pregnant mother who has no health care coverage for pregnancy and birth is eligible for some sort of insurance, which in any form would be cheaper than paying everything out of pocket. Good Luck!

This varies region to region but cost of DR's care about 3000-3500, the hospital is the largest fee. Usually somewhere around 6000, but can be as much as 10,000 if you have a c-section. I would check into the rider on your insurance and if it's a group policy they usually have to accept you. Good luck

They instructed me that my toddler grew to become into huge as nicely. We even had a sonogram in the 8 or 9 month and that they instructed me how overweight he grew to become into. He ended up coming a week early and grew to become into 7 lb 7oz! no longer that vast! Plus, an 8 lb (or maybe extra suitable) toddler continues to be no longer that vast. women transport toddlers this length effectively on a daily basis. i would not project yet particularly have some self belief on your wellbeing practitioner. they'll do for you what is mandatory. Congrats and good success on your upcoming hard paintings and transport.

With my first baby in 1997 it was just over 6,000. My 2nd baby I barely made it to the hospital and they really didn't have to do anything, bill was $1800 for her.
I imagine average cost would be around $9000 nowadays.

I spent about $1500 out of pocket so at 20% of the total price...the total price was close to $9000? That includes Drs, Meds, anesthesiologists, my stay, my sons stay, etc. Geeze...I should have just gone on a really great vaca. J/k I wouldn't do that, my son is precious!

Between 8,000$ and 10,000$ for you and the baby, more if complications arise and anesthesia is administered. Depends strongly on where you live, as well. Vaginal delivery base cost is about 10,000$ here.

About 8,000 for you and the baby with no complications or meds like an epidural. About 5,900 for you and 2,000 for the baby's stay. With anesthesia it goes up alot ..Maybe try a home birth with a midwife alot cheaper. Good Luck.

I don't know. I had to pay nothing for all three of my children's births. My husband has double coverage through his work and the military. Sorry I couldn't help. Call the hospital and ask them.
